Zen Zombie Games Inc. is proud to announce the launch of its first game, Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot (or NPZR for short). NPZR is a game for two players, where you each try to build a ninja, pirate, zombie and robot from the cards in your hand.
The game retails for CAD$15 and is available via the NPZR page on our website. Purchasing a deck also entitles you to a licence key for the online version of NPZR, which will be launched later in the year. This key allows you to play against your friends on your iPhone, Android or other mobile device, or even from your web browser.

Last weekend, Aidan and I went to the Prairie Con games conference in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. This conference was our deadline for getting everything finished and ready, so we could present Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot to the local gaming community. I got the chance to play several other games and meet some great people during the weekend.
On the Sunday, we ran a tournament and got to see how our game was received by an impartial audience. It was great to watch people opening up the freshly printed cards and try out the game we’d worked so hard to put together. The feedback was really encouraging, and the tournament was enjoyed by all who took part. To everyone there, thanks for making it such a success and for all your support and enthusiasm. I am already looking forward to next year.
Yesterday afternoon we received the first copies of Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot from the printers. It’s a great feeling to unwrap boxes of something that you created – kind of like Christmas as a kid. Here’s a quick snap I took of the game open on my desk. The game will be available for sale to the general public this weekend at PrairieCon, and then via this website in the not too distant future.
Here’s a sneak preview of the art for our Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot game, which is due out on June 3rd.
Many thanks to Ryan Howe at Scribblinz Studios for putting these characters together for us.
NPZR will be available for sale June 3rd, just in time for PrairieCon 31 in Brandon, Manitoba. More info on our participation in that event to come soon.
